About
This circular metronome is a free practice tool for musicians who want to see a rhythm as well as hear it. It is made and maintained by Yawaraka Kobo.
Who makes this
It is built and written by a guitar teacher in Japan who runs a private studio. The tool started as something used in lessons: students could hear a polyrhythm but not see where the pulses met, and a circular dial turned out to explain it faster than words did. The practice guides come from the same place — they are the explanations that get repeated most often in lessons.
How it is built
- Every sound is generated in your browser, so there are no audio files to download.
- There is no sign-up. Saved patterns and sequences stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
