Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the circular metronome at this website, operated by Yawaraka Kobo.

No account, nothing uploaded

You do not need to sign up, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the metronome.

Data stored in your browser

Your saved patterns, sequences and display settings (such as whether the needle is shown) are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies

The metronome itself and the analytics described below do not set cookies. Our hosting provider may use cookies that are strictly necessary to protect the site from abuse.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many visits the site gets and how quickly its pages load. When you open a page, a small script from Cloudflare sends information such as the page address, the referring page, your browser and operating system type, and page loading times. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and we only see aggregated statistics. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data. If your browser blocks this script, the metronome works exactly the same.

Hosting and server logs

This site is delivered by Cloudflare. As with any website, delivering a page involves processing technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. Cloudflare uses this to serve the site and protect it, and provides us with aggregated traffic statistics (for example, the number of visits per country). See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Advertising

We have applied to show ads on this site through Google AdSense. No ads are shown at present, and no advertising script runs on any page. Once ads are shown, Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, will use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. You will be able to opt out of personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, and visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent first. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services for details.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled — for example when ads start to be shown — we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
